Pensacola Beach

Pensacola Beach is on Santa Rosa Island, which looks like a line from east to west in a map. It is located south of Alabama, in the west part of Florida. The time zone is Central Time. Pensacola Beach Blue Angels Airshow is one of the two annual Blue Angels airshows in the Pensacola area, which is normally held the second weekend (Friday & Saturday) in July. The weather is quite muggy, but the moisture in the air can easily condense. We can find shockwaves on the upper wing of a Blue Angels' F/A-18.

It would be a good idea to visit the National Museum of Naval Aviation in NAS Pensacola on Sunday after the airshow. Unfortunately, I have only one picture before the airshow.

Casino Beach

There are several beaches in the Pensacola Beach area, but this is the best for watching the airshow. If we come from the downtown Pensacola, this beach is right after two long bridges. The Beach Ball Water Tower would be a good landmark.

The parking space is wide and free. It would be better to come before 8 a.m. to get a spot near the beach. The airshow started around noon and the Blue Angels flow in the end.

The waves were a little bit high at that time, so we were allowed to swim on the shore. My friends found a shark in the water. We might be careful in Florida. The water was not very clear. We were not supposed to swim during the airshow.
