Smyrna Airport is located near Nashville, TN, 200 miles north of Birmingham via I-65. Although the National Guards are stationed, the airport is mainly for small private aircraft. The airshow was held for two days. The admission was $20 per adult at the gate. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demonstrated their flight performance with only five F-16Cs.

The aircraft has been changed a lot from a normal Pitts.

SNJ-2North American SNJ-2 Texan

The Skytypers have six Texans. They flew near the audience in the picture. One more their performance was `typing' messages in the sky.

OH-58DBell OH-58D Kiowa Worrier

The OH-58D is U.S. Army's fielded armed reconnaissance aircraft.

Father steers his bi-plane, and Son performs on the wing without lifelines.
