Nevada is famous for casinos. Reno is the second biggest casino gaming city next to Las Vegas. Las Vegas continuously becomes bigger and there are many attractions for not only adults but also children. I think that Reno lacks something for entire families.
When you get out of an airplane in Reno, you can find slot machines in the concourse. You can get real coins instead of chips if you win. Hotel rooms in Reno are very reasonable because you are supposed to spend a lot of money in their casino. :)
Airshow fans would think about "Reno Airshow," which is held for three days in every September.
