Chattanooga is known as a scenic and beautiful city. However, it had the worst air pollution of any city in the United States in 1960s. Chattanooga locates 150 miles northeast of Birmingham via I-59. Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is near the downtown.
Lookout Mountain Station
The Incline Railway is the steepest passenger railway in the world. There are two stations, one of which is Lookout Mountain Station. The highest grade of the track is 72.7% (angle of 36°). It takes about 20 minutes between the two stations.

The structure of the car is already inclined to keep passengers comfortable.
Parking Lots at Rock City
The red nest on the truck is the sign of the Rock City. The leafs of the maples turned red at that time.
Rock City
There are stone pavements inside the Rock City and the walking direction is fixed. We can find many interesting natural rocks.
