This exhibition, held for the first time in ten years as that of Greek art in Japan, is consist of the collections in Japan and many are in private collections, which hardly open to public. Over a hundred of objects are exhibited.

We focus on the pottery, especially the pictures painted on them. After surveying the development and the techniques of the painted pottery, We will observe the view of ancient Greek on their mythology and their life through the scenes on the vases.
