After the fall of the Mycenean Civilization, Greek population was declined, all the letters were forgotten and wall-painting and sculpture were completely disappearred. Greek vases, however, still retained the style of last generations and developed it into so-called Geometric style. Later, they introduced animal and human figures among the patterns and then Korinthain vase-painters invented the black figure technique and finally Athenian introduced the red figure technique.

Here we are going to follow the development of Greek vases and the painting from the end of the Bronze Age to the Classical period.
